چکیده

Objective: Delayed graft function (DGF) is related to enhanced acute rejection attacks in the short term and reduced survival overall long-term. In this study, we desired ascertain outcomes of DGF. Material Methods: This study a retrospective cohort study. Two hundred seventy-four patients who underwent kidney transplant from deceased donor were included. DGF was described as obtaining dialysis treatment within first week transplant. The recipients divided into groups DGF+ (Group 1) DGF- 2). compared terms risk factors which based on recipient characteristics. Short-term outcomes, long-term results compared. Results: incidence 50.3%. rate donors with expanded criteria (ECD) 37.3%. Mean glomerular filtration (GFR) at one year after transplantation 57.5 ml/dk/1.73m2 for Group 1, 73 2 (p<0.001). There no statistically significant difference between loss mortality year. survival. Conclusion: did not negatively impact long-term, although it associated prolonged hospitalization increased early period.

Delayed graft function in living-donor renal transplantation: a single-center experience with 1537 patients

Objectives: To analyze the incidence, clinical characteristics and possible causes of delayed graft function (DGF) among a large number of living kidney transplant recipients at a single center. Patients and Methods: We analyzed the medical records of 1537 patients over 18 years of age who received a kidney transplant from a living donor between January 2003 and June 2014. The demographic chara...

Deceased donor neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin and delayed graft function after kidney transplantation: a prospective study

INTRODUCTION Expanding the criteria for deceased organ donors increases the risk of delayed graft function (DGF) and complicates kidney transplant outcome. We studied whether donor neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL), a novel biomarker for acute kidney injury, could predict DGF after transplantation. METHODS We included 99 consecutive, deceased donors and their 176 kidney recipi...

Risk factors and long-term outcomes of delayed graft function in deceased donor renal transplantation

PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors for delayed graft function (DGF) and determine its impact on the outcomes of deceased donor (DD) kidney transplantation (KT). METHODS Between January 2000 and December 2011, we performed 195 DD renal transplants. After the exclusion of primary nonfunctional grafts (n = 4), the study recipients were divided into two groups-group...
